We have been doing Genesis since 2021.Genesis has helped my three boys every summer gain confidence in their reading. Two of them participated in the Oregon Battle of the Books competition this year and were fortunate enough to represent their school. We owe a huge thank you to the dedication and patience of the Genesis staff.

The Genesis Summer Reading Academy provides reading instruction and interventions to students receiving Title 1 services and/or who are eligible for free and reduced meals at school. Our 7-week summer school operates on a Monday through Thursday schedule, and is staffed by licensed teachers, current college students invested in the education of local youth, and high school student volunteers. Our Genesis curriculum has an established record of making Genesis students feel known and valued in our joyful learning environment, while improving student reading outcomes. Breakfast, snack, and lunch are provided daily.
