Since the Genesis Reading Academy launched in the summer of 2018, we have been rooted in our belief that students must possess foundational reading and literary skills that enable them to achieve the sustained academic success that empowers students to attend school with confidence, optimism, and joy. Too many children in our schools who grow up in poverty fail to experience such an education because they lack basic reading proficiency skills.
Your tax-deductible donation allows the Genesis Reading Academy to fulfill its mission to Genesis students today through our free, seven-week summer school program where Genesis students experience an average increase of 24 correct words per minute. Your donation will also help us expand our reach into the traditional school year.
